Campanula lactiflora 'Monica's Dream'
Campanula lactiflora 'Monica's Dream' is a clump-forming perennial with branching stems carrying generous clusters of milky-white to very pale lilac, bell-shaped flowers. Green, lance-shaped leaves provide a fresh backdrop to the delicate blooms.
Flowering in summer, it adds height and soft colour to cottage gardens and mixed borders. Plant alongside roses, hardy geraniums or ornamental grasses for a relaxed display, with the upright flower stems rising above lower-growing companions.
Grow in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, avoiding waterlogged conditions in winter. Support the stems in exposed positions and cut back faded flowering stems to encourage further blooms.
