About this Mix
This premium soil mix has been carefully designed to suit the fine root systems of Calathea and Maranta. It combines high aeration with excellent moisture retention, ensuring your plants remain evenly hydrated while reducing the risk of root rot.
Fine air pockets provide space for new shoots to emerge easily, while Vermiculite, Lava Rock, and Coco Coir hold steady moisture—reducing the chance of underwatering that can cause leaves to droop or become crispy.

This mix creates the perfect balance: moisture-retentive yet airy enough to prevent roots from suffocating.
