Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost' ℗
Brunnera 'Jack Frost' is one of the most striking foliage perennials for shade, valued for its shimmering, heart-shaped leaves heavily overlaid with silver and fine green veining. In spring, sprays of small sky-blue flowers appear above the foliage, resembling delicate forget-me-nots and adding a soft contrast to the bold leaves.
Exceptionally long-lasting, the foliage remains attractive from early spring right through to autumn, making it a superb choice for woodland gardens, shady borders and softening the edges of paths and beds. Easy to grow and reliably hardy, it also works beautifully in pots and containers, forming elegant clumps that gradually spread to create excellent ground cover.
