Borage
Borage is a fast-growing annual herb known for its vivid blue, star-shaped flowers and soft, slightly hairy foliage. A favourite in both ornamental and kitchen gardens, it brings a relaxed, cottage garden feel while flowering generously from late spring through to autumn.
Highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, borage is excellent for wildlife-friendly planting and companion growing in vegetable beds. Its edible flowers can be used to decorate salads, desserts or drinks, while the plant itself is easy to grow in most well-drained soils in a sunny position.
