Vaccinium corymbosum 'Grover'
Blueberry 'Grover' is an attractive deciduous fruiting shrub that produces crops of delicious blueberries during summer. Delicate white, bell-shaped flowers appear in spring before developing into clusters of ripe fruit from July to August.
As well as providing an edible harvest, this variety adds ornamental interest to the garden with its fresh green foliage, which develops attractive autumn colour before falling. The berries are ideal for eating fresh, baking, freezing or adding to desserts and breakfast dishes.
Suitable for fruit beds, mixed borders and large containers, 'Grover' performs best in acidic, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Growing it alongside another blueberry variety can help improve pollination and encourage heavier crops.
