Begonia ‘Silver Moon’
Begonia ‘Silver Moon’ is an elegant foliage begonia with luminous silver leaves contrasted by deep green to charcoal margins and fine dark veining. The metallic sheen across the foliage creates a cool, reflective appearance that stands out beautifully in indoor plant displays.
The broad, softly textured leaves have a slightly spiralled shape and velvety finish, while the burgundy-red undersides add further depth and contrast. Compact and bushy in growth, this striking begonia is ideal for shelves, desks and mixed tropical collections where its shimmering foliage can be fully appreciated.

Begonia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain strong leaf colour and healthy growth. Avoid direct sunlight which may scorch the foliage.
Water: Keep compost lightly moist, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between watering. Never leave sitting in excess water.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining houseplant compost with added bark or perlite for airflow. Feed monthly during spring and summer.
Humidity: Benefits from moderate to high humidity and appreciates a warm position away from cold draughts and radiators.
Pruning and propagation: Remove damaged or older leaves to encourage fresh growth. Can be propagated from leaf or stem cuttings.
