Begonia 'Namur'
Begonia 'Namur' is an elegant rex begonia prized for its shimmering silver foliage and beautifully spiralled leaves. Each leaf displays a rich satin-like silver surface that reflects the light, while a delicate blush of soft pink radiates from the centre, creating a refined and sophisticated appearance.
The compact, bushy habit makes this variety ideal for smaller spaces, terrariums, shelves and decorative indoor plant displays. Its striking metallic foliage provides year-round interest and contrasts beautifully with darker-leaved houseplants, making it a standout addition to any foliage collection.

Begonia Care Sheet
Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and fade the dramatic foliage colours.
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry. Keep lightly moist but never waterlogged. Reduce watering during winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining houseplant compost mixed with perlite and fine bark. Feed every two to four weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Position near other houseplants or use a humidifier if indoor air is particularly dry. Avoid misting directly onto the leaves.
Pruning and propagation: Remove damaged or ageing leaves as required. Propagate through leaf cuttings or division of mature plants.
