Begonia 'Holiday'
Begonia 'Holiday' is a compact rex begonia with beautifully marked foliage that delivers colour and contrast throughout the year. Its pointed leaves combine rich red and deep green tones, separated by a distinctive pale band that highlights the leaf pattern and gives each leaf a crisp, almost painted appearance.
The smooth leaf surface enhances the bold colouring, while the neat, bushy habit makes it ideal for windowsills, shelves and indoor plant displays. Despite its compact size, the striking foliage creates plenty of impact and provides year-round interest, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and collectors of ornamental foliage plants.

Begonia Care Sheet
Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and fade the dramatic foliage colours.
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry. Keep lightly moist but never waterlogged. Reduce watering during winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining houseplant compost mixed with perlite and fine bark. Feed every two to four weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Position near other houseplants or use a humidifier if indoor air is particularly dry. Avoid misting directly onto the leaves.
Pruning and propagation: Remove damaged or ageing leaves as required. Propagate through leaf cuttings or division of mature plants.
