Astilbe 'Spotlight' is a graceful perennial with dark green, finely divided foliage that provides the perfect contrast to its feathery, light pink flower plumes in summer. Blooming over a long period, the airy spikes bring texture, colour, and movement to shaded borders and are highly attractive to bees and pollinators.
In autumn, the foliage develops warm tones, extending the seasonal interest beyond flowering. Easy to grow and reliable, ‘Spotlight’ thrives in moist, humus-rich soil and is ideal for shady borders, woodland gardens, or planted beside ponds where the soil remains damp.
