Aster novi-belgii 'Starletta Blue'
Pot Aster 'Starletta Blue' is a compact, colourful plant grown especially for creating an instant display of late summer and autumn colour. It produces masses of blue-violet, single daisy-like flowers with contrasting yellow centres above fresh green foliage.
Perfect for refreshing containers, patio pots, window boxes and seasonal displays as summer bedding begins to fade, 'Starletta Blue' provides a rich splash of colour well into autumn. Its abundant flowers are also attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.
Best positioned in sun or partial shade and kept regularly watered while flowering, this compact pot aster is easy to enjoy with very little maintenance. Although asters are perennial plants, 'Starletta Blue' is primarily grown and sold for its outstanding late-season pot and bedding colour.
