Aster novi-belgii 'Henry Pink'
Aster 'Henry Pink' is a compact, late-flowering perennial producing masses of vibrant pink, semi-double flowers. The colourful blooms are carried above dense, bushy green foliage, creating an eye-catching display towards the end of the summer season.
Typically flowering from August through to October, 'Henry Pink' provides valuable late-season colour when many other perennials are beginning to fade. The flowers are also highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, making it a useful addition to wildlife-friendly planting schemes.
Hardy and easy to grow, this compact Aster is ideal for the front of mixed borders, cottage gardens and patio containers. It performs best in full sun in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, with regular deadheading helping to prolong the flowering display into autumn.
