Arabis blepharophylla
Arabis blepharophylla, commonly known as Wall Cress, is a widely planted rock garden and edging perennial, valued for its bright spring display. It forms a neat, mounding cushion of grey-green evergreen foliage, smothered in masses of sweetly fragrant, small pink-purple flowers for several weeks.
Ideal for rockeries, walls, banks and containers, this easy-to-grow plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it is drought tolerant and low maintenance. For best results, trim lightly after flowering to maintain a compact, bushy habit. Good drainage is essential, particularly through winter.
