Amelanchier canadensis
Amelanchier canadensis is a graceful, multi-season shrub or small tree with starry white spring flowers and glowing autumn colour. Commonly known as shadbush or Juneberry, Amelanchier canadensis produces clouds of delicate white blossom in early spring, followed by edible purple-black berries and fresh green foliage that turns rich orange and red in autumn. Compact and easy to grow, it’s ideal for wildlife-friendly gardens, mixed borders or small spaces.
