National Tree Week

National Tree Week

Are you ready to #PlantForOurFuture?

National Tree Week is the UK’s largest annual tree celebration, running from Saturday 27 November to Sunday 5 December and organised by The Tree Council. Across the country, people will be planting thousands of trees to mark the start of the winter tree planting season. How are you getting involved?

Plant a tree with us!

Trees and hedgerows are some of the most powerful tools we have in the fight against climate change. And the good news is that we can all make a difference by planting a tree! Whether you plant a tree in a pot on your doorstep, a hedge in your garden or organise a community event at a local park, every tree will help us grow a greener future together. Download The Tree Council's tree planting guide to find out more about what tree to choose, where to plant and how to do it!

Join in with an event

Wherever you are in the country, you can get involved in National Tree Week by signing up for one of The Tree Council's amazing free webinars. Get ready to #PlantForOurFuture by learning all about tree planting from their resident tree expert Jon Stokes, or join our session with the Oxford Botanic Gardens to find out more about mistletoe – is it a friend or a foe? Register for free now and find out more about some of the exciting events they have organised.  Find out more.

Give the gift of a greener future

If you’re not able to plant a tree yourself, don’t worry – The Tree Council can plant one for you! By donating £15, you’ll be helping them to plant a new tree or metre of hedgerow and take care of it afterwards. However much you’re able to give, your generosity will mean that they can continue to work together for the love of trees and create a tree-filled future for all of us.  Make a Donation.
