A Little Jungle, A Big Team Effort

There’s something new to discover in our houseplant area - a large plant vivarium, imagined, planned and built by the Cowell’s team.

The idea began with a couple of team members who have smaller plant cabinets at home. They thought a larger version would make a wonderful display here, and we had some special houseplants that deserved a home just as special as they are.

Over a couple of weeks, the team brought the idea to life, sourcing materials and combining their different skills to create the cabinet. Moss, foraged stems and branches, and reclaimed wood give the display its natural woodland feel, with plenty of detail to explore among the foliage.

Grow lights help keep the plants happy, while a humidifier creates the moist atmosphere they enjoy. We’ve also hidden a couple of little figures inside - see if you can spot them when you visit!

All the plants in the display are for sale, so if something catches your eye, just ask our houseplant team. Whether you’re dreaming of your own plant cabinet or looking for a fresh way to display a few favourites, we hope our little jungle inspires you to get creative at home.
