This week saw the annual regional Garden Centre Association (GCA) awards take place across the country. Some of our team attended the North Area awards presentation held at Strikes Stokesley Garden Centre, and did not come away empty handed! We are proud to have been awarded the prestigious Ruxley Rose for our plantaria, which is judged on excellent quality, presentation and overall range of plants available as well as the layout of the plants. Additionally, we were honoured to have been awarded the Ian Boardman Award for Best Indoor Plants Retailer, recognising the dedication of our houseplant team and their department.
The next stage will be a second judging of our outdoor plant area in Autumn, where we will be competing for the national Ruxley Rose award. The national award presentation will take place in January, so we have our fingers crossed!
