Vinca minor 'Ralph Shugert'
Vinca minor 'Ralph Shugert' is an attractive evergreen groundcover, prized for its glossy dark green leaves edged with a distinctive silver margin. Forming a dense, low-growing carpet, it provides year-round colour and texture while helping to suppress weeds in difficult areas of the garden.
In early spring, masses of bright blue flowers appear above the variegated foliage, creating a vibrant display that brightens borders and shaded spaces. Occasional blooms continue through summer and autumn, extending the flowering season and adding extra colour over many months.
Hardy, easy to grow and tolerant of dry conditions once established, 'Ralph Shugert' is ideal for covering banks, slopes, woodland gardens and awkward shaded areas. Thriving in sun, partial shade or full shade, it is an excellent low-maintenance choice for creating reliable evergreen ground cover.
