Veronica prostrata 'Rhapsody in Blue'
Veronica prostrata 'Rhapsody in Blue' is a compact, mat-forming semi-evergreen perennial with neat dark green foliage. Its low, spreading habit makes it particularly useful for adding texture and ground cover to alpine and rock garden planting.
Growing to only around 10cm high, 'Rhapsody in Blue' is ideal for rockeries, alpine troughs, border edges and smaller garden spaces. It performs best in full sun, although it will tolerate light shade, and is well suited to exposed as well as sheltered positions.
Hardy and easy to grow, 'Rhapsody in Blue' prefers poor to moderately fertile, well-drained soil and is suitable for chalk, loam or sandy conditions. It can be grown in acid, neutral or alkaline soils provided drainage is good.
