Tillandsia ‘Rainforest Red’ is a vibrant and eye-catching air plant known for its striking colour changes during the bloom cycle. Tillandsia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate gentle morning sun but avoid harsh midday rays. Artificial grow lights are also suitable
Water: Mist 2–3 times per week, or soak for 15–20 minutes weekly. Allow to dry fully within 4 hours to prevent rot. Increase watering in warm, dry weather
Soil/Nutrition: No soil required. Mount on wood, cork, stone, or display in open vessels. Feed monthly with diluted air plant or bromeliad fertiliser
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity. Kitchens and bathrooms are ideal, provided there is good airflow
Pruning and propagation: Remove dry outer leaves. Propagate by separating pups once they reach one-third the size of the parent plant
