Thuja occidentalis 'Danica Aurea' is a charming dwarf conifer forming a naturally rounded, globe-shaped mound of rich golden foliage. The vibrant golden-yellow colour is at its brightest during the growing season, bringing year-round structure and contrast to the garden. Slow growing and exceptionally neat in habit, this compact variety requires very little maintenance and naturally retains its attractive shape without regular pruning. During winter, the foliage deepens to warmer bronze-green tones, providing seasonal interest and texture.
Ideal for rockeries, alpine gardens, containers and small borders, 'Danica Aurea' is perfectly suited to smaller gardens where space is limited. Its compact growth and reliable performance make it an excellent choice for adding evergreen colour throughout the year.
