Sorbus vilmorinii
Sorbus vilmorinii is a graceful, small deciduous tree with finely divided, fern-like foliage that brings a light and elegant texture to the garden. In late spring to early summer, flat clusters of creamy-white flowers appear, creating a beautiful display that is also attractive to pollinators.
As the seasons progress, the flowers are followed by decorative crimson-pink berries that gradually fade to soft pink and near-white, often remaining on the branches into winter. The foliage develops rich purple and red tones in autumn, making this an excellent ornamental tree for smaller gardens, mixed borders, or as a striking specimen.
