Salvia greggii 'Blue'
Salvia greggii 'Blue' is a compact, evergreen sub-shrub producing masses of striking blue flowers over an exceptionally long flowering season. Blooming continuously from late spring through to the first frosts, it provides months of colour and valuable nectar for pollinating insects.
The vibrant blooms are held above aromatic green foliage, creating a colourful display that works beautifully in sunny borders, gravel gardens, Mediterranean-style planting schemes and patio containers. Its neat, bushy habit makes it easy to incorporate into both formal and informal garden designs.
Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, this reliable salvia is drought tolerant once established and requires very little maintenance. The flowers are highly attractive to bees and butterflies, helping to support garden wildlife throughout the season.
