Rhododendron neriiflorum 'Burletta'
Rhododendron neriiflorum 'Burletta' is a distinctive dwarf rhododendron forming a neat, mounding habit. In spring it produces rich red, bell-shaped flowers that sit beautifully against dark green evergreen foliage, creating a bold yet refined display.
A particular highlight of this variety is the foliage, with the leaf undersides covered in a striking purple to wine-red indumentum that adds depth and interest throughout the year. Slow growing and compact, ‘Burletta’ reaches around 1.2m in height and spread over ten years, making it ideal for smaller gardens, sheltered borders and woodland-style planting in acidic soils.
