Prunus laurocerasus 'Genolia'®
Prunus laurocerasus 'Genolia'® is a compact, upright evergreen shrub valued for its glossy dark green foliage and naturally narrow habit. Its dense, vertical growth provides reliable year-round structure while taking up less space than broader-growing cherry laurels.
In spring, upright spikes of small, fragrant white flowers appear above the foliage, adding seasonal interest and attracting pollinating insects. The evergreen leaves remain attractive throughout the year, making 'Genolia'® particularly useful for screening and structural planting.
Hardy, versatile and easy to maintain, 'Genolia'® performs well in a wide range of soil types and garden conditions. Its compact habit makes it especially suitable for hedging, borders and confined spaces where a dense evergreen screen is required without excessive spread.
