Potentilla fruticosa 'Abbotswood'
Potentilla 'Abbotswood' is a compact, hardy deciduous shrub valued for its long flowering season and resilience. Its fine green foliage with silvery highlights forms a neat, dense mound that provides structure throughout the growing season. From early summer right through to autumn, it is covered in a profusion of pure white, saucer-shaped blooms, widely considered the best white among shrubby cinquefoils.
Reliable and low maintenance, ‘Abbotswood’ thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it perfect for borders, low hedging, and rock gardens. Its nectar-rich flowers are attractive to pollinators, adding life and movement to the garden.
