Platycladus orientalis 'Aurea Nana'
Platycladus 'Aurea Nana' is a compact, slow-growing evergreen conifer with a neat, rounded to ovoid habit. Its dense, upright sprays of lime-green to golden-yellow foliage provide bright colour and texture throughout the year.
The foliage is particularly vibrant during spring and summer, developing warm bronze-gold tones during colder weather. Its naturally tidy shape makes it an attractive feature for rockeries, gravel gardens, mixed borders and containers.
Hardy and low maintenance, 'Aurea Nana' performs best in full sun and moist but well-drained soil. It requires little pruning and is an excellent choice for smaller gardens or formal planting where compact evergreen structure is needed.
