Platycladus orientalis 'Aurea Nana'
Platycladus orientalis 'Aurea Nana' is a compact, slow-growing conifer prized for its naturally dense globe-shaped habit and attractive golden-yellow foliage. Its bright colouring remains effective throughout the year, bringing structure and contrast to the garden in every season.
This neat dwarf variety requires very little maintenance and is ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens, alpine beds and mixed borders. Its naturally rounded form means pruning is rarely required, making it an excellent choice for low-maintenance gardens and smaller spaces.
Reliable and hardy, 'Aurea Nana' also performs exceptionally well in containers, where its year-round colour and tidy habit can be appreciated on patios, terraces and entranceways.
