Photinia × fraseri 'Chico' is a compact evergreen shrub with a naturally neat, rounded habit that makes it ideal for smaller gardens and contemporary planting schemes. Fresh bronze-red shoots emerge throughout the growing season, gradually maturing to glossy deep green foliage, providing attractive colour contrast for much of the year.
This dwarf variety forms a dense, spherical mound without the need for regular clipping, making it perfect for containers, front-of-border planting, low hedging and formal garden designs. Its compact size allows it to fit easily into courtyards, patios and smaller spaces where larger photinias would become overwhelming.
