Philodendron tortum x 'Florida Beauty'
Philodendron tortum x 'Florida Beauty' is a rare and distinctive hybrid combining the finely divided, elegant foliage of Philodendron tortum with the striking variegation associated with 'Florida Beauty'. Each leaf can develop differently, ranging from narrow, deeply cut foliage with subtle mottling to broader leaves displaying dramatic cream or white sectors.
This unusual Philodendron makes an impressive collector's plant while remaining relatively easy to care for. Position in bright, indirect light to encourage strong growth and help maintain the variegation, and grow in an open, chunky potting mix that provides excellent drainage and plenty of air around the roots.

Philodendron Care
Light: Bright, indirect light is best; variegated plants benefit from higher light levels to help maintain their colouring
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of compost have dried, avoiding consistently wet or waterlogged soil
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity but adapts well to normal household conditions
Temperature: Keep warm, ideally between 18°C and 27°C, and protect from cold draughts
Feeding: Feed regularly with a balanced houseplant fertiliser during spring and summer
Compost: Grow in a chunky, free-draining aroid mix that allows plenty of air around the roots
Support: Provide a moss pole or similar support as the plant matures to encourage stronger climbing growth
