Philodendron 'Burle Marx Fantasy'
Philodendron 'Burle Marx Fantasy' is a slow-growing climbing houseplant with elongated, silvery-green leaves patterned with an intricate network of dark green veins. The softly textured foliage creates a detailed, understated display, with closely spaced leaves overlapping as the plant climbs.
A distinctive choice for foliage collections, it benefits from a moss pole or flat climbing support that allows its attractive leaves to sit close to the surface. Steady warmth, higher humidity and bright, filtered light help this unusual philodendron develop well indoors.

Philodendron Care
Light: Provide bright, filtered or indirect light. Protect from strong direct sunshine and avoid deep shade.
Water: Allow the top 2–3cm of compost to dry before watering thoroughly. Keep the root ball lightly moist beneath the surface, draining away excess water and avoiding prolonged saturation.
Humidity: Prefers higher humidity, ideally around 60% or above, with gentle air circulation. A humidifier can help in dry rooms.
Temperature: Maintain steady warmth, ideally 18–28°C. Protect from cold draughts and direct heat from radiators.
Feeding: Apply a liquid houseplant fertiliser during active growth, following the product instructions. Reduce or stop feeding when growth pauses.
Repotting: Repot when the roots become crowded, using an airy, freely draining houseplant compost with added bark and perlite. Increase pot size only slightly.
Support: Provide a moss pole, plank or other suitable climbing surface. Secure stems gently to encourage the overlapping leaf display.
Winter care: Reduce watering as growth slows, maintaining good light and consistent warmth.
Experience level: Moderate
