Lavandula angustifolia 'Vera'
Lavandula angustifolia 'Vera' is a classic English lavender producing fragrant blue flower spikes above aromatic, silvery-green foliage. Blooming throughout summer, it brings both colour and scent to sunny borders and is highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
Its compact, bushy habit makes 'Vera' ideal for cottage gardens, Mediterranean-style planting, edging paths and low informal hedging. It also performs well in containers, while the fragrant foliage and flowers can be dried for use in crafts and potpourri.
Hardy, reliable and easy to grow, 'Vera' performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. Avoid heavy, waterlogged conditions and trim lightly after flowering to help maintain a neat, compact shape.
