Hebe 'Dark Secret'
Hebe 'Dark Secret' is a compact, evergreen shrub valued for its rich, dark foliage and strong seasonal interest. The leaves and stems appear deep purple to near-black in cooler months, lightening slightly in warmer weather to provide subtle variation.
In summer, masses of dark purple flower spikes emerge, creating a striking contrast against the foliage while attracting bees and butterflies. Easy to grow and well suited to coastal conditions, it is ideal for borders, containers and low hedging in sunny, sheltered positions.
