Geum 'Fire Opal'
Geum 'Fire Opal' is a vibrant perennial producing attractive semi-double, frilly orange flowers on slender stems from April onwards. The cheerful blooms rise above neat clumps of foliage, bringing bright colour and movement to borders during spring and early summer.
Flowering over several weeks, this compact variety is perfect for smaller gardens, cottage-style planting schemes and mixed perennial borders. The warm orange flowers attract pollinators and combine beautifully with blues, purples and other spring-flowering perennials.
Easy to grow and reliable, 'Fire Opal' performs best in a sunny or lightly shaded position with moist, well-drained soil, where it will provide a long-lasting display year after year.
