Echinacea 'SunMagic Watermelon' is a vibrant coneflower producing masses of striking watermelon-pink, daisy-like blooms from midsummer through to autumn. Its colourful flowers and sturdy upright habit make it a standout feature in sunny borders, prairie-style planting schemes and wildlife gardens.
Exceptionally easy to grow and highly reliable, this hardy perennial thrives in well-drained soils and copes well with periods of drought once established. The nectar-rich flowers are irresistible to bees and butterflies, while the long stems also make excellent cut flowers for fresh arrangements.
Flowering continuously from July to October, 'SunMagic Watermelon' provides months of colour with very little maintenance, making it an excellent choice for both experienced and novice gardeners.
