Dahlia 'Dark Crystal'
Dahlia 'Dark Crystal' is a striking decorative Dahlia producing large, luminous pink to pale purplish-pink flowers above dramatic dark foliage. The broad petals are highlighted with deeper magenta-pink edging and richer raspberry tones towards the centre, creating a beautifully layered effect.
Flowering throughout summer and into early autumn, 'Dark Crystal' provides a long-lasting display of colour and contrast. Its dark burgundy-green foliage adds extra depth and structure, while the strong flower stems are also excellent for cutting.
Ideal for sunny beds, mixed borders and large patio containers, this impressive variety performs best in fertile, well-drained soil. Regular deadheading will encourage continued flowering, while the tubers should be lifted and stored somewhere frost-free over winter.
