'Dusky Maiden' is the result of a careful breeding process, resulting in a strong Cotinus with stunning foliage and an exceptionally bushy, well-branched growth habit. It will not get leggy, stays more compact, and responds very well to pruning. In spring and summer, its leaves have an impressive purple-red colour, turning to bright orange-red in autumn. The more sun it gets, the more red its foliage will become!
