Cotinus 'Dusky Maiden' is a compact, well-branched smoke bush selected for its strong, bushy habit and rich, colourful foliage. The leaves emerge and develop in deep purple-red tones through spring and summer, intensifying in full sun before turning brilliant shades of orange-red in autumn.
In summer, airy pink flower panicles create a soft, smoky effect above the foliage, adding texture and movement. Ideal for sunny borders and feature planting, this easy-to-grow shrub responds well to pruning and maintains a neat, compact shape without becoming leggy.
