Cornus kousa 'Venus' is a superb disease-tolerant hybrid dogwood, valued for its exceptionally large, creamy white flowers that appear in late spring to early summer. The impressive blooms are held clearly above the foliage, creating a bright, elegant display that is highly attractive to bees and other pollinators.
As the season progresses, fresh green leaves provide a neat, attractive canopy before turning rich shades of orange and red in autumn, extending interest well into the year.
