Clematis macropetala
Clematis macropetala is an attractive deciduous climber producing nodding, violet-blue blooms from April. The elegant, bell-shaped flowers bring delicate early-season colour and movement to walls, fences and garden structures.
After flowering, the blooms are followed by silky, fluffy seed heads that extend interest well into summer. Suited to most aspects and easy to grow, this low-maintenance clematis is perfect for weaving through shrubs or training over a trellis, pergola or archway.
