Clematis 'Queen’s Nurse'™
Clematis Queen’s Nurse™ ('Evigsy159') is a compact, free-flowering clematis with the remarkable ability to produce two distinct flower styles on the same plant. Pale pink blooms with deeper central striping appear on fresh new growth, while richer, almost solid pink flowers develop on mature stems, creating a unique and evolving display throughout the flowering season.
Flowering from late spring into early summer, with repeat blooms later in the season, this compact clematis delivers exceptional colour and performance without excessive growth. Part of the Raymond Evison collection, it has been carefully bred and rigorously trialled to ensure excellent garden performance, resilience, and reliable flowering in both borders and containers.
Named in honour of the historic connection between the National Garden Scheme and The Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing, this special clematis helps raise awareness of two remarkable charities with roots linked closely to Guernsey and community nursing.
