Clematis armandii 'Apple Blossom'
Clematis armandii 'Apple Blossom' is a vigorous evergreen climber producing masses of beautifully scented flowers in spring. The creamy white blooms are delicately tinged with soft pink, opening from deeper pink buds and standing out attractively against the glossy green foliage.
The flowers have a sweet almond-like fragrance and are produced in abundance, creating an impressive display when trained over walls, fences, arches or pergolas. Its evergreen foliage also provides useful year-round screening and structure in the garden.
Best grown in a sheltered position in full sun or partial shade, 'Apple Blossom' is ideal for a warm wall or protected boundary. Once established, it is a strong-growing and relatively easy-care climber that benefits from plenty of space to develop.
