Chamaedorea cataractarum
Chamaedorea cataractarum - A lush, clump-forming palm with dense, arching fronds of feathery green foliage. Also known as the Cat Palm, it adds a soft, tropical feel to indoor spaces without growing too tall. Unlike many palms, it has no trunk and spreads from the base.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but will tolerate lower light levels. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the fronds.
Water: Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry. Do not allow to fully dry out.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a rich, free-draining potting mix. Feed monthly in spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertiliser.
Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity. Mist regularly or place near a humidifier to prevent browning leaf tips.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove yellowing or damaged fronds at the base. Propagation by division is possible but not commonly done indoors.
