Campanula x haylodgensis
Campanula x haylodgensis is a delightful spreading perennial valued for its unusual double lavender-blue flowers that appear in abundance throughout summer. Its compact, low-growing habit makes it an excellent choice for containers, hanging baskets, rockeries and the front of sunny borders.
The attractive blooms rise above a neat mound of green foliage, creating a long-lasting display from July through to September. The flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, bringing additional wildlife interest to the garden.
Easy to grow and fully hardy, this charming bellflower thrives in full sun or partial shade and prefers free-draining soil. Its spreading habit allows it to gently trail over the edges of pots and raised beds, softening planting schemes with colour and texture.
