Calathea 'Zebrina'
Calathea ‘Zebrina’ is known for its distinctive, velvety green leaves boldly striped with bright lime-green bands, creating a striking, almost animal-like pattern. Its soft texture and elegant upright growth make it one of the most eye-catching Calatheas for interior displays.
Thriving in warm, humid environments with gentle, indirect light, this variety is perfect for adding vibrancy to living rooms, bedrooms, and shaded corners. Large leaves mean this is an excellent air-purifying plant, enhancing indoor air quality while bringing lush tropical character into the home.

Calathea Care Sheet
Light: Plenty of indirect, bright light. Can tolerate some shade, but colour may fade. Keep above 15°c, and away from draughts
Water: Keep soil damp at all times, but not soggy. Water little and often, and allow excess water to drain
Soil/Nutrition: Well-draining houseplant potting mix, feed monthly in spring and summer
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity, so mist regularly, or place on a pebble tray to increase humidity. Also an ideal bathroom plant
Pruning and propagation: Remove old, faded leaves and keep mature leaves dust free by wiping with a damp cloth. Propagate via root divisions in spring and summer
