Begonia ‘Temuyuk Silver’
Begonia ‘Temuyuk Silver’ is a striking foliage begonia prized for its shimmering metallic silver leaves and dramatic tropical appearance. The broad foliage features contrasting dark green veining and softly textured surfaces that catch the light beautifully, creating an almost reflective sheen.
Compact and bushy in habit, this unusual begonia adds texture, brightness and rainforest character to indoor plant displays. Its bold silver colouring pairs especially well with darker foliage plants, whilst mature specimens may occasionally produce delicate pale pink flowers.

Begonia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun as this may scorch the foliage and reduce the metallic silver colouring.
Water: Keep compost lightly moist, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between watering. Never allow the plant to sit in excess water.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining compost mix with added bark, perlite or coco coir for airflow. Feed every 3–4 weeks during spring and summer.
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity and warm indoor temperatures. Benefits from grouping with other plants or placing near a humidifier.
Pruning and propagation: Remove older or damaged leaves as needed. Can be propagated easily from stem or leaf cuttings in warm, humid conditions.
