Begonia 'Fortune Yellow'
Begonia 'Fortune Yellow' is a compact, tuberous perennial celebrated for its masses of large, double, sunshine-yellow flowers that bloom continuously from summer through to autumn. The vibrant blooms contrast beautifully against the rich green foliage, creating a bright and cheerful display in containers, hanging baskets and garden borders.
This bushy variety forms a neat mound of attractive foliage and flowers freely throughout the growing season. Its weather tolerance and long flowering period make it a reliable choice for adding colour to sheltered patios, courtyards and summer bedding schemes.
Best grown in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny position, 'Fortune Yellow' thrives in containers where its glowing blooms can be enjoyed up close. As a tuberous begonia, it should be protected from frost and lifted or overwintered indoors in colder areas.
