Aspidistra Care Sheet
Light: Tolerates low light extremely well but also grows in bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun which may scorch the leaves
Water: Water moderately, allowing the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between waterings. Very drought tolerant. Reduce watering in winter
Soil/Nutrition: Use a well-draining, peat-free potting mix. Feed sparingly during spring and summer with a balanced fertiliser
Humidity: Average household humidity is fine. Very tolerant of dry indoor air
Pruning and propagation: Remove any damaged or yellowing leaves at the base. Propagate by division during repotting
