Amelanchier canadensis 'October Flame'
Amelanchier 'October Flame' is a compact deciduous tree offering excellent interest across several seasons. In early spring, masses of delicate, star-shaped white flowers appear, creating an attractive display before the foliage fully develops.
The blossom is followed by small purple-black berries in summer, which are edible and also provide a valuable food source for birds. Its neat, upright growth habit makes 'October Flame' particularly suitable for smaller gardens, mixed borders and wildlife-friendly planting schemes.
