Agapanthus ‘Lapis Lazuli’
Agapanthus ‘Lapis Lazuli’ is a compact, semi-evergreen African lily originating from New Zealand, valued for its prolific display of vivid blue flower heads throughout summer. The rounded umbels are produced freely above neat clumps of narrow, strap-like foliage, creating strong colour and structure in sunny garden spaces.
With its tidy habit, this variety is particularly well suited to borders, pots and gravel gardens, where it provides long-lasting seasonal interest without overwhelming surrounding plants. Flowering over an extended period, ‘Lapis Lazuli’ performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. In colder regions, some winter protection is recommended to preserve its semi-evergreen foliage.
