Agapanthus 'Carbonella'® is a striking and contemporary African lily, valued for its dramatic contrast of foliage, stems and flowers. The light green to yellow foliage brings brightness early in the season, making it an eye-catching feature on patios, terraces and in sunny borders.
From early summer, almost black flower stems rise above the foliage, opening to deep, dark blue flowerheads that create a bold and sophisticated display. The stems retain their rich purple-black colour throughout flowering and beyond. After flowering, decorative seed heads form, providing a sculptural winter silhouette and extending interest well into the colder months.
