A compact Japanese maple with intense red foliage and finely textured form. Acer palmatum 'Hime-shojo' has small, deeply divided leaves that emerge bright scarlet in spring, maturing to rich burgundy in summer and turning fiery crimson in autumn. With a dense, bushy habit, it’s ideal for containers, rockeries, or small garden borders.
