Gardman join forces with The Royal British Legion

Gardman join forces with The Royal British Legion

2017 is the second year that Gardman join forces with The Royal British Legion with a target of raising £350,000 for the Armed Forces community - men, women, veterans, and their families.. This comes after an incredibly successful campaign in 2016 where they raised £218,359. Gardman have produced a beautiful range of Poppy products bringing a decorative look to any garden or outdoor space, not only serving the birds of your garden but also the Armed Forces community. The Red Poppy remains a lasting symbol to the fallen; your poppy supports the Armed Forces community past, present, and future.

At Cowell's we have the Glass Poppy Bird Bath, Glass Poppy Table, and Cast Iron Poppy Feeder Dish. Every purchase includes a donation to The Royal British Legion, one of the UK's most recognisable charitable cause. Each sale of the Glass Poppy Bird Bath (RRP £19.99) and the Glass Poppy Table (RRP £19.99) will see £1 going to The Royal British Legion while 50p will be donated for each sale of the Cast Iron Poppy Feeder Dish (RRP £7.99).

Matt Easters, Head of Wild Bird Care at Gardman, said: “We’re so proud to be partnering with The Royal British Legion for a consecutive year and hope we can make an even bigger difference to the Armed Forces community and their families. The poppy is an iconic symbol in relation to our Armed Forces and because we share a core customer demographic with the British Legion, we expect our beautiful poppy range to prove very popular.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to not only increase sales and engagement for our brand by bringing in new customers, but more importantly we will be helping to improve the lives of our Service people, as well as ensuring our wild birds are cared for.”
